| Agency co-founder Candy Monteiro came from the Music Industry, where she worked for Billboard Magazine and had a nationally syndicated Radio show, "Star Track," distributed by Westwood One. She met her now partner, Fredda Rose, when the two of them worked at The Sy Fischer Agency, a large Los Angeles-based literary agency in 1984. They opened the Monteiro Rose Agency a few years later, in 1987. |
| A Smith College graduate, Fredda Rose received her law degree at NYU and was a Wall Street attorney in New York City before joining ABC-TV as a lawyer in their Contracts Department. Fredda was also a lawyer and agent for The Sy Fischer Agency, and Taft Broadcasting, before meeting her current partner, Candy Monteiro. |
| After graduating from UCLA, Milissa Brockish began working at the Monteiro Rose Agency in the mid-90s. Like everyone else in Hollywood, she started as an assistant. She has since worked up to Associate Agent, primarily representing feature film and longform television writers. |
| The Agency's newest agent is Jason Dravis. A graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Jason has worked at the Agency for more than five years. He has focused most of his efforts in the animation area, which he has carved out as his specialty. |
